I have had issues both sending and receiving configs using IC4. However, IC4 Lite works perfectly every time. I use the Lindy USB serial lead.

I had heard that some of the USB serial convertors can have issues with some operations. The one I have been recommended is the Lindy part number 42812

which I have never had a problem with when communicating with controllers. Having said that; I’ve never had the need to send a config to a controller using it, so this advice may be no help at all!

    Hi,

I work in IT for our local council. We have just rolled out new laptops (Win 10 64bit) and we are having issues when sending configs to some controllers. Receiving is fine. We are using a USB to serial cables, which Siemens said might be the issue. I was wondering if anyone else has had success with USB serial cables?
