Bob – we have incorporated a Pegasus within a signalised junction in Greater Manchester. Let me have your email address and I will send you the layout. Richard.Dolphin (at) Tfgm.com

    Bob,
Here is a good example of a Pegasus incoporated into a junction. This crosses 6 lanes of traffic.

I have been asked a question by a client who is looking at a new traffic signalled junction which is close to a bridleway and has asked whether the Pegasus feature for the bridleway can be combined into the junction across 1 arm or must it be kept separate. The guidance is sparse on horse crossings at the best of times and, whilst I can’t find anything to say this is permissible, I also can’t find anything to say it isn’t. Any views or experiences would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks
    Bob
