    Had to do it a few times – just make sure they dont over-do it on the pressure and that the cables arent 100 years old. It would take a fair bit of concentrated water pressure on the PVC to cause significant damage and a competent operator should keep things okay.

    Depending on the age of the cable, post-testing will probably be overkill – the last PI should give you the cable test results to make an informed decision/guess whether it is necessary or not.

    Has anyone had any problems or cable damage result from using high pressure water jetting in ducting with cables present while trying to clear a blockage?

    I do plan to switch off the signals so the cables aren’t live and am considering getting them tested before and after.
