I’ve had my response back from Elexon directly, and it seems that the submissions we make to UU are slightly different to the assumed standard.
The “normal” way of doing it is, as IanW and others have rightly said, that each aspect needs to be counted separately. However, because we also count lanterns AND lamps in our submission for UU’s system to calculate our energy, then it seems that changing the number of “traffic heads” to mean the number of physical lanterns, and making the number of lamps “3”, makes no difference to the end result.
Having said that, I will get re-clarification on this from UU, just to be on the safe side.
Sometimes I wonder if it would not just be easier to install smart meters in all sites… save all this nonsense in the first place.
